The hostess may interpret the theme Palette & Porcelain based on the colour she has randomly selected, as she sees fit. Decorating/setup of each table is for the hostess’ own account.

Judges & Judging:
Judging will be on the most creative interpretation of the theme. Judging will be conducted by an external panel.

Guests to arrive at the venue from 12:30 so as to enjoy a welcome drink.

Rules:
Prizes to be awarded  – 1st, 2nd & 3rd only.

The HCP will not be liable for any losses or damages to any property.

Each hostess is to ensure that her table is fully paid for on or before Wednesday, 17 June 2026. The hostesses’ table number is on the envelope with the colour selected.

Each table will be allocated one round table, 10 chairs and a white table cloth. Should extra chairs be required by any hostess, please let the committee know in advance, so that the necessary arrangements can be made timeously. Cutlery & crockery will be provided on the day; the use of these items is optional.

Tea & coffee will be available for consumption by all. Hostesses are not required to bring any eats this year, as this will be provided by our generous sponsors.

All tables should be completely decorated by 12:00 on the day. The doors to the hall will then be closed.

Judging will begin once the doors are closed.

Access to the venue shall be granted from 13:00 on Friday, 19 June and again at 08:00 on Saturday, 20 June.
The choice is yours when to setup.

13:00 – Judging
13:30 – Guests take their seats
14:00 – Welcome
14:15 – Tea & cake
15:00 – Prize giving
